Project

Point Grey Golf & Country Club

Scope

Long Range Master Plan

Location

Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Point Grey Golf & Country Club has a deep and storied golf history as one of Vancouver’s oldest original private membership clubs still in existence.  Established in 1922 by a group of Scottish golf enthusiasts, the Club has a strong golf pedigree with classic design undertones, such as burns, with fragments of such features still evident today.  Ideally located near downtown Vancouver, the Club is tucked between the Fraser River to the south and the Coastal Mountains to the north.

In 2017, the Club retained Rhebb & Johns to produce a comprehensive Long Range Master Plan.  The objective of this Master Plan was to completely upgrade, remodel and revitalize the golf course, develop best-in-class practice amenities, and set forth the foundation for the next 100 years of golf at Point Grey Golf & Country Club.

Phase One was completed in 2020.

What they’re saying about Point Grey

Having known Keith and Riley for a number of years, and having the good fortune to play and examine the work they’ve done at a variety of locations, I’ve come to the conclusion there are few golf architects today who bring as much enthusiasm, experience, and energy to their projects in the way these gentlemen do. Their passion for the game and for architecture shines through in all of their projects.
